Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner made headlines for the wrong reasons at the start of 2024. The 50-year-old was accused of inappropriate behavior by a female employee at Milton Keynes. The Briton was cleared of all allegations after an independent investigation. However, it seems that Horner’s case will be reopened in the coming days.

As per The Sun, the female employee will be questioned again in the coming days. It must be noted that Red Bull had suspended her after Christian Horner walked away scot-free from the investigation. However, Red Bull GmbH has reportedly appointed a new lawyer to handle this case. Previously, rumors emerged that the external barrister investigating Christian Horner was the London lawyer of Red Bull’s Thai majority shareholder, Chalerm Yoovidhya.

Yoovidhya is believed to be the Briton’s biggest ally in the Austrian giant. However, such speculation was not addressed by Horner or the energy drinks giant. If the claims were true, the introduction of a new lawyer could change things in the case with a potentially fairer process for the employee.

Red Bull reportedly ready to be transparent over Christian Horner saga

Red Bull GmbH had not disclosed any information about the accusations on Christian Horner, or the details of the investigation. This was met with immense backlash from fans and critics. Lewis Hamilton criticized for the lack of transparency in F1 recently. Moreover, even former Red Bull world champion Sebastian Vettel urged for more information to be released.

As per a source of The Sun, the Austrian giant wants to put an end to this saga as soon as possible. So much so, that Red Bull would be willing to be transparent after a new verdict is released. Moreover, the energy drinks giant does not want to compromise the investigation into Christian Horner’s accusations in any way.

Red Bull has made it clear that once the appeal is over, they are willing to be fully transparent. They don’t want to do anything that compromises the process but when it’s done, the gloves are off. A source told The Sun

Certainly, Christian Horner could once again be the talk of the paddock if the case is reopened in the coming days. The Briton has pleaded innocent ever since the allegations were brought to light a couple of months ago. However, fans would be looking forward to hearing the report made by the new lawyer regarding the Red Bull team boss.
