Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz reports that free agent safety Julian Blackmon is visiting with the San Francisco 49ers today.

Schultz wrote on social media, "Blackmon has several suitors after enjoying a career season with the Colts, which included 4 INTs."

The Indianapolis Colts selected Blackmon (6-0, 202) out of Utah in the third round (No. 85 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 15 starts with the Colts last season, he registered a career-high 88 tackles, including five for a loss, a quarterback hit, eight passes defensed, and four interceptions, per Pro Football Reference.

49ers safety Ji'Ayir Brown is entering his second NFL season as All-Pro Talanoa Hufanga continues to rehab from the torn ACL he sustained on November 19, 2023. Safety Tashaun Gipson is an unrestricted free agent.

Blackmon, 25, earned a career-high 72.6 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus, allowing a 57.5 passer rating when targeted.

Throughout his four NFL seasons, Blackmon has recorded 214 tackles, including 12 for a loss, two quarterback hits, a sack, 17 passes defensed, seven interceptions, a touchdown, and two forced fumbles in 50 game appearances (46 starts).
